POP a cork up your ass!!! OK go get fucked.......... Jebediah MAYBE pop to you but they're so much more to a TRUE fan. How many bands that are in the POP charts sound like Jebediah?? Sorry but their aint many, they've got a very original sound, that sad to say, a lot of new bands are copying. No disrespect to The Fergusons, but they sound very Jebediah'ish, in some of their earlier tracks. If you define POP by popular music im very sure that Chris, Kev, Ness n Brett would frown at you you for even stating pop against their name. POP Holly Valance's Head, Pop Kylies butt, go POP yourself...................Jebediah do not = POP INDIE ROCK ALL THE WAY

pop adj : (of music or art) new and of general appeal (especially among young people) i think that sums up jebediah as much as needs be I find it extremely hard to classify a moderatly well known Perth band alsongside Britney Spears, Christina Aguliera, Destiny's Child, N'Sync, Usher and Kylie Minogue. In this day in age, pop IS classified as a separate genre, with its sub-genres and such. I agree with the rock-pop thing, as the Jebs have had a bit of commercial appeal with fall down, leaving home and others, but it would be leaning towards the more alternative side of things. Basically, what could be classified as pop would be a great majority of the artists on the aria singles charts.

Did anyone ever read the thing that kevin said about the "popstars"? cutting a long story short he hated everything about them... not so much because they were pop but because they hadn't worked for what they had achieved. i'm not saying all pop music is like that... but alot of it seems to be along those lines... heaps of technology enhancement, backing tracks, songs being written for peo-ple... no talent... that's one of the main problem. so who care's about the genre... does the band WORK for what they achieve?... if so then they deserve credit.

mmmm..... it would seem to me that the popstar people work extremely hard when you consider the pitiful financial reward they would recieve for it, considering they would get no songwriting royalties and don't tour. Unless you get paid for shopping centre appearances. Ofcourse, I'm sure the thrill of being all over the tv and magazines is enough for them.

I'm not a pop fan. But I assure you that pop-stars would be doing/would have done work to get where they are. A lot of them would have been singing since they could pronounce vouls.

Have you seen that music thing on Channel V (it used to be on SBS) it was on Yesterday or Sunday I think but they said basically the same thing you just said.

And who needs financial rewards when: Scott's Fact Sheet(when asked if he has any pets) : Do groupies count as pets? We should pity the fool. hes lying. i doubt he'll ever be able to get groupies. well, besides 13 year olds.

Scott Says :: " Oh Joshy man, I too love inoffensive pop music. I'll always have a hard spot for you. Now go buy a tidy hat from 'The Bill' like mine from your local ABC shop"

im sure he has plenty of groupies, im sure he has a hotter girlfriend then any other normal guy has True but she probably never lets him touch her so her hair doesn't get messed up. Unless of course she too has a bad hat fetish.
