people are dying a lot all the time. in some ways its good and some ways its bad.
like last year and a before when left eye and aaliyah died all these people were like oh my god everyone is dead and when i was watching the news about left eye just after this woman was driving back form a holiday with her three kids, all under ten, and a semi trailed went over them and they were survived by the father (though i dont think youd want to survive). and i don t know... it just seemed to wrong.
not that im having a go, it made me really sad that katherine hepburn was dead because she was so magnificent, but then it makes me feel guilty too because so many other really worthy people out there have died and its just so sad... its like when someone dies and you cant understand why the rest of the world can continue... like the w.h auden poem. ill go find it and post it because its beautiful.

Funeral Blues.
Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone, Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone, Silence the pianos and with muffled drum Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.
Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead, Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves, Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.
He was my North, my South, my East and West, My working week and my Sunday rest, My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song; I thought that love would last for ever; I was wrong.
The stars are not wanted now: put out every one; Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun; Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood, For nothing now can ever come to any good.
W. H. Auden

even on four weddings it was touching. especially cos ti was used in the right context and they didnt try to make it heterosexual..i suppose it wouldnt really make a difference cos its always toouching but..you know what i mean.

true, it was used in the right context. i liked that they actually showed some homosexual affection rather than portraying gay lifestyles as constant premiscious sex.
sorry, highhorse was too easy to get on

I know too many people that actually rely on 'Queer as Folk' as a reliable source to what homosexuals are like.

It was sad about those twins, It would have been a hard choice to make Riak death and take and chance at a better life or stay the same.
