I'm sick of seeing anonymous posters making up faux names and basically 'guest posting'. I just don't see the point, why not just invest 2 minutes of your life to register?
Especially when its done to throw an insult at someone...for fucks sake if you are going to attack someone, don't be such a pussy about it.
Plus it basically encourages Rollerqueef to continue posting here.
Who else finds this practice appauling, and further proof of the need for me as an evermod?

yeah i agree dave.
guest posting can be disabled - but admin's got to do it [obviously] and my guess is they've got far better things to give a shit about than proboards settings. i guess you'll just have to hope that if someone's going to start hurling insults, they've got the balls to do it under their real name.

I could seriously do a good job mod-ing this place. We've had topics made in the past and the people have voted. I am their representative. I speak on their behalf. although i agree it is dodge that people sign in as guests to stop ppl from knowing that they are who they are... i think that makes sense, anyway, i do try and login everytime i use hmj but sometimes i shalt log in and then as soon as it goes to a new page it logs me out and the only way i have possibly of posting is as guest. so maybe they should make it possible to always signed in and then stay signed in rather than disabling guests.  |
