yer we do have a good local scene BUT its still good to get the chance to see a big international band once in a whiile, im not pissed of about missin alien ant farm, but system of a down, they are someone id really wanna see due to their drummer is so fucking orse. and the fact taht ADELAIDE gets warped? i mean come on... perth pisses all over adelaide!!!! the maint reason for me being pissed is the fact that i really really really really wanted to see a new found glory. FUCK THEM ALL

I sympathise for u people in perth i really do seeing how u guys get heaps more jebs gigs then us i know it feels to miss out. the only bad thing about the show is that all these little try hard pucks are going to turn up in their ripped up whit buisness shirts with words like 'shit and 'fuck' and crappy writing like Big day Out 01. f u were at the melb bdo you'd know what im talking about.....

coulda - dont worry about missing NFG, theyre not much to see anyway.
adelaide has a much bigger and enthusiastic hardcore/punk scene than perth. just cause perth hates adelaide doesnt mean that they should get the gig. more people would turn up in adelaide than perth i reckon.
like i said before - the promoters wanted to come here but most bands they booked already had plans to goto ASIA after the east coast shows. im pretty sure next year, or if itll be bi-annually that perth will get their chance, with a much better line up than this years one. itll take awhile before we get a line up as close to awesome as the US tour.

paintbrushes - a new fouind glory mite not be anything special to you, but to me they are, and as they only ever really play gigs in america i never get the oppurtunity, and now they're commin to the land down under n i still dont get a chacne, they are the one band i need to see at the moment as their love songs always get me thru the hardtimes...n im goin thru one of those at the moment

'the needle on my record player has been wearin thin...' Yep, NFG should add a nice sing a long element to the days festivities, same with the mighty Eskimoes (doesn't anyone else think they might be a bit out of place? But ill be there cheering along)

yeh eskimoes are hell out of place on that lineup. atleast the prelim lineup didn't make it... haha lash were on that... coulda: if nfg mean that much to you, perhaps invest in flying it to the nearest warped?? when a band means that much to you, just go for it or you'll end up regretting it for sure, if you have the means then do it! i'm spending nearly $150 (prob more when i figure out travel and whatnot) on 2 warped dates just for mxpx... blm however are a nice bonus

i agree that yea sure perth misses put sometimes but hey, what are you gonna do about it? besides, we have 1) more jebs shows 2) a thriving n thrashing locals scene where you can see A grade local bands...sometimes even for free gawd bless the music

joce : invest in travelling to see them? if i had money to i would, if i wasnt at school i would, i would have to skip a good 5 days of school which thus cancells my youth allowance, thus im even more screwed money wise. so thats a no go.

Yeah, I had to choose between warped and shoreshocked too! Not much of a choice.. shoreshocked is FREE and well, warped is very not. plus saturday's better for me because of uni.
Did you guys know Eskimo Joe has pulled out of all their warped tour dates because of illness? It's true.

this was on the Rockus website about Eskimoe Joe pulling out : 27th of March - Unfortunately due to complications with singer Kav Temperley's wisdom teeth, Eskimo Joe regret to inform you all that they have had to pull out of this years Vans Warped tour. The band and the promoters would like to apologise to all of you who bought tickets expecting to see Eskimo Joe. Iam not going because its cost to much but i am going to shoreshocked which is free .
