whilst im sure this is a recycled thread im sure everyone has seen a band since it was last done. who where and when was your favourite live performance.
i for one will have to say jebediah in '99 (an SO packed setlist), but thats about as much as i can contribute being from darwin and having fuck all bands visit. ;D
oh and josh i'd be insulted by your rude remarks but your mother said its just because your coming to terms with your sexulatiy. say hi to your mum by the way, and apologise for my having to cancel our date last night.

Lo-tel - October 2001.
Jebs at Kelts recently was a pretty good night as well, mainly because I got to meet Chris and Vanessa afterwards.

id say the jebs gig at evelyn fall down tour just blew me away after not seeing them for ages. playing new songs with real energy and drinking with ness after horray.
also magic dirt a few months back at the tote just kept going for ages and played heaps of old stuff as well as pace it my fav song.
really small venues really great atmospheres.

ive been to some great gigs that i loved in my short time. high on my list is the living end at the start of 2001...so much energy. and also the first jebs gig i ever went to...on the animal tour i think. it was just....hypnotising.

i don't think accussing jebediah of being pop and saying that the only reason they played my favourite gig is because i haven't seen many other bands is much of a suck up.

id say the best i've seen is Tool. buttttttttttttt there's a huge difference between big stage bands such as Tool, Metallica etc compared to your always rockin, beer swillin n spillin gigs in a small pub. Therefore the best i've seen recently in a pub would be The Ha Ha's.

i have to agree, i hate large crowded live music. that's why i don't like festivals. except warped doesn't get too crowded.

Magic Dirt at Kelts (with Girls Against Boys and the Nation Blue) - i was talking to Adalita and Adam before the show (really nice people) and during the show she dedicated Dirty Jeans to me. Jebediah also at Kelts was an awsome show - Chris skulling the bottle of beer on stage was funny - i got some awsome photots and i got to chat to Ness, Chris and Brett before the show. the whitlams at teh basement - i am not a big Whitlams fan but i won tickets and decided to go along anyway - the atmosphere was really good, but the drinks are really expensive there. You Am I are always great to see live.
