Well after driving an hour out to Rosebud it seemed like me and my mate where not only the oldest people there (19) but the only jeb fans except for a few at the front. The crowd was that of a blue light disco, but hta aside the jebs were great and the new song was unreal. setlist was about as follows Eveready Animal If You Want It Did You Really Number One Harpoon Yesterday When I Was Brave Teflon New (Miles Away From Anyone?) Please Leave NDC Jerks of Attention Star Machine Fall Down ---------------- Military Strongmen October Leaving Home
cheers beno

wow..you must be old if you use the term "bluelight disco" .. after all, blue lights are used so people cant see their veins, therefore they cant inject drugs into their veins..so it's fair enough that they be used at an U18 jebediah concert because we're all smackies.

Jebs played a gig in a railway station toilet? BTW, I got to spoke to Vanessa at the Blaxland gig and asked her about the new song. It hasn't got a name as of yet, and also they've made a whole lot of new music as well, just without any lyrics.

I think my friend and i take the honours for the oldest ppl there besides jebs and the cops. It was like a bluelight disco for the eighties, run by the police and rosebud rsl. crowd was a little dissapointing as there weren't many there. Its very rare to get good bands down the peninsula but anyway it was agood nite. The highlight was Kevin's classic solo guitar impersination during teflon.

well i also was at the jebs gig and must say the crowd was a bit dissapointing... not only the lack of people but why the hell were people wearing mini skirts to a rock concert??? Also what's up with the whole punk look, don't u all feel like idiots wearing the same sorts of clothes? anyhoo besides that the jebs were ACE! loved every second of the gig (especially teflon!) and for all those people out there who are chris fans... i was the one who got to give him a kiss on the hand so can't wait till u guyz come back down ell xox

To answer your first question; the mini skirt wearing people think that they have a better chance of picking up by showing off their legs. It's also part of their crappy uniform (don't tell anyone but the teeny boppers are forming an army designed to crush all good music so they can pollute the air with Selwyn) these people are undercover, they aren't Jebs fans.
question 2a; it's rebelious youth at it's best. Rebelling against conformity and rules, however there obviously isn't enough individuality to go around and again there is a uniform for the rebelious types so they can say, I hate conformity.
Question 2b; dunno, I'm not one of them, I'm one one of the cool indie kids all out for individuality and unsigned bands standing at the back of the room cammoflaged in a wall of bad haircuts and geeky glasses.

It was a band called Vital Session? Anyway i gathered that they went to that school 'casue they were only young and most ppl seemed to know them. Antiskeptic was next and put on an awesome show as per usual. I'm pretty certain there were a few new songs chucked in as well.

The band was actually called "Vital Essence", and yeah they are a local rosebud or in the area of sort of band. But they rocked, sounded very good, and the lead chick was using a fender jaguar.... *drools* might have even been kev's, but i doubt it.... I can't comment on the crowd, i was front row centre going off, didn't even bother to look behind me. The new song rocked as well, most ppl know by now but it's got a name now, "Worlds away".
